Fishing Fun!!

A little while ago we took the kids on a fishing adventure. We didn't catch anything that day but everyone had a great time and we are looking forward to getting out there again. Next time I'll remember stronger sun screen :-)

Fun sessions are coming up. One maternity, a baby shower, newborn and a pin up calendar with another incredible photographer  Andrew Ryan, for a good friend of mine. I'm excited and feel good about getting out there. It's so tough to make yourself known in such a competitive market but i do for the love of the pictures. It is who I am and it is what keeps me sane.

Soaring

7th Grade

This morning I went down to the local Jr. High school and registered my son for 7th grade. I'm not sure who is going to be more scared, him or I. I just can't believe how time has flown by. It seems only yesterday i was carrying him in my arms singing "The Rainbow Connection" to calm him down whenever he was fussy. My baby, not so much a baby anymore but a baby to me he will always be.

I feel like I'm going to cry everytime i think about it LOL I'm so mushy!!

The Mullers

A little while ago I had the pleasure of photographing an incredible couple. I have known both of them since high school and was honored when they asked me to capture their special day. It's so great to see a couple who have been together for so many years still look at eachother the way they do. True love lasts forever!! Here's a sneak peek :-)

Class of 2008

I'm still in the learning stages of what a senior might want. I have found that parents want the more formal, tradional pose and the senior wants the more fun and carefree, show my pesoality pose. I try to give my client a little bit of both and this was a lot of fun to do. She was funny and making funny faces at me. I hope she like them :-)

She is also studying photography so I had her use my Pentax during the day :-)

Ms. Jo Jo

It's amazing how time just flies on by isn't it? That one minute you're in grade school, just barely getting to know what life is all about and then the next? You're graduating high school ready to take on the world.

Just a little senior session that was a lot of fun. I hope she enjoys herself she was so much fun to photograph. This is just a little sample :-)

 

The Girls

These two are so cute together. They are like two peas in a pod. I love taking both of their pictures....and they love to have me take them :-) Always posing and giving me those great smiles. So much fun these two are.

This past mothers day was spent  with my family and loved ones. I missed my stepdaughter (she was with her mother of course) but I was able to hear her voice early in the morning. My family completes me, in every way and I am truly grateful!

I had a session a little while ago with a friend of mine while she was over to watch a football game. Her kids are just adorable and she is such a great mother. She just had her 4th child and he couldn't have been more cute. He is older now but I still love these pictures. His big smile says it all
